I'm a size 6/8 so always between sizes :) My advice, since this is a swimsuit and should be form-fitting, pick your usual "skirt" size (for me that is small). Do not size up.
Note about Lilac color: The lilac is a tiny bit "nippy," so if you don't mind that, great! If you do, you may want to choose a print that camouflages the nips as there are no pads in this suit.
I love this swimsuit! It is not the suit you'll choose for lap swimming, but it's perfect for casual water days at the pool, beach, snorkeling, cruise deck and more. Great coverage, not too cheeky in the booty. I got a medium and it fits when dry, but I think it will be a little loose when wet, so I'm getting a small for my upcoming cruise adventures.
